Just got this email from my friend Raj P:

Hi,
<private content - deleted>
I was really pissed of at Virgin's <content-deleted>
Searched on goggle and found this though
For XP only (Does not work on - Taking the Pista....Vista!)
<!--break-->
Go to> Run
Type> gpedit.msc
Under computer configuration expand the Administrative Template box.
Then expand the Network box
Then Double click and open QOS packet scheduler.
After double clicking on the right hand side you will see "Limit Reservable Bandwidth" - Double click on it.
Then...
Click the "enable" radio button
Change percentage to (0)Zero
Click apply
Restart your pc
20% FASTER BROADBAND. I now get around 9.8MB instead of the usual 7.5MB.
Check it on Speedtest!
It has to be done on all your PC's as it is a Microshit thing.
Enjoy
